What's your fairy tale life?

For some reason this question has been in my head for the last couple days: If your life were a fairy tale, what would you want it to look like? (I think this is related to one of my favorite self-help book questions: What does your ideal life look like?)

So far, in my fairy tale life, I know that I wake up late every morning, have a cappuccino machine, and spend a good part of the day writing in my sunlight-filled room. I also have a fluffy bed with high thread count sheets and lots of pillows. But that is as far as I've gotten so far.

Ooh! I'd live in a house with lots of windows and, as a result, lots of sunshine, and I wouldn't have to commute into the city anymore. I'd do everything from home, except when having to meet with editors or interview subjects. And I'd magically be a fabulous cook. The days would be long and languorous...more than enough time to get sooo many things done.

I'd have a whole room dedicated to yoga and meditation and calmness and just peace from it all. No one could go in it to do anything else except that (and maybe read in there.)

I'd also have more time to spend with my cat.

And I'd have enough time each morning (cause my job would start late) to have long breakfasts and eat Peet's Coffee scones, or enjoy my own latte's at home.

PS- That photo you posted is so great!

There would be a porch bathed in warm sunshine, overlooking the water. There would be coffee in the morning and cabernet at night. My man and THAT DOG. A laptop and an ipod. Fuzzy slippers.

I could go on like this for awhile :)
