I've been getting weird, annoying headaches on the weekends -- and the weekends only. I tried making sure I had the same amount of coffee as the weekdays and that wasn't it, so now I am trying something new: I am no longer sleeping in until 10. I'm waking up within an hour of the same time every day, which means getting up at 8 on the weekends. So far (today), it's worked great -- no headaches. I think something about sleeping in really late got my brain all fuzzy.
Meanwhile... I am turning my brain off for the 3-day weekend. I think I may be drowning in Jane Austen-related materials, but it feels so good... I'm reading a great biography of her, Becoming Jane Austen, watching Masterpiece Theater's Pride and Prejudice special, and have a book about what happens after Pride and Prejudice sitting next to my bed... I'm obsessed.

I get headaches when I sleep in also. I call them sleep hangovers. My doctor told me regular sleep patterns are important for migraine sufferers.
interesting, thank you! I told my doctor about my headaches but she didn't mention that.
I hate waking up with a headache!
actually, i get headaches when I sleep late too! but it's usually not something some water and a big coffee can't fix :)
